In Spain, it\u2019s an official translation drafted by a translator who has been recognised by Spain\u2019s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation. Sworn translation in hard copy<\/span><\/h4>
The traditional format for sworn translations. A paper copy of the stamped, signed sworn translation is delivered together with a copy of the original, which has also been stamped, dated and signed. Sworn translation in digital format<\/span><\/h4>
A digital document bearing the sworn translator\u2019s electronic signature. This format is primarily valid for remote procedures, but may also be accepted if printed out. It\u2019s always best to check which formal requirements your sworn translation must meet. Ask the institution requesting the translation. They will be the one to decide whether your translation is valid for their purposes.
